Our Declarations of faith: What We BELIEVE
OUR FAITH DECLARATIONS
“What We Believe & Declare”
📖 GOD & THE BIBLE
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and it is the final authority for faith and daily living.
We believe God is holy, loving, just, merciful, and sovereign, and He is actively involved in the lives of His people.
✝️ JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man.
We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with divine authority.
We believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
We believe Jesus ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers.
We believe Jesus is Lord, Savior, and King, and He will return again.
🔥 THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowers them for holy living, and equips them for service.
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and that they are active in the Church today.
We believe the Holy Spirit produces spiritual fruit in the life of the believer.
🙌 SALVATION
We believe salvation is a free gift of grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We believe salvation includes forgiveness of sins, new life, and eternal life.
We believe no one is saved by works, but by grace through faith.
We believe those who are saved are called to live a transformed and obedient life.
💧 BAPTISM & COMMUNION
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in Holy Communion as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns.
🏛️ THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers.
We believe the Church exists to worship God, preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve the community.
We believe every believer is called to be active, committed, and accountable in the local church.
🌍 THE MISSION
We believe in the Great Commission—to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.
We believe the Church is called to love, serve, and impact its community, especially the lost, broken, and overlooked.
We believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus through compassion, justice, and outreach.
💥 HEALING, DELIVERANCE & POWER
We believe God still heals, delivers, and restores today.
We believe in the power of prayer and the authority of the believer through Jesus Christ.
We believe nothing is impossible with God.
🌱 HOLY LIVING
We believe believers are called to live holy, righteous, and God-honoring lives.
We believe holiness is not legalism, but love in action through obedience to God’s Word.
We believe our lives should reflect Christ in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
👑 THE FUTURE & ETERNITY
We believe in the resurrection of the dead.
We believe in eternal life for those who are saved and eternal separation from God for those who reject Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ will return in power and glory to reign forever.
🗣️ CORPORATE DECLARATION (Optional Recitation)
We declare that we are a people of faith,
rooted in truth,
empowered by the Spirit,
committed to the mission,
and called to transform our community
for the glory of God.
Amen.
PARTNER WITH US AS WE FOCUS ON CHURCH OUTSIDE THE FOUR WALLS
Jesus declares in John 4:35,“Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest.”At Desire for All Nations, we are filled with expectancy and faith for what God is doing in this season. The harvest is ripe—and God is calling His Church to lift its eyes, move with compassion, and step boldly into the fields. This is not a time to remain comfortable within four walls; this is a moment to respond to His heart. That is why the theme God has given us for this upcoming year is “We’re Outside!” It is a call to be present in our communities, active in the harvest, and intentional about reaching the lost, the backslider, families, and those who feel forgotten. We believe ministry doesn’t stop at the church doors—it begins when we step beyond them.
